My son Dan just called from his boat -- he is fishing east of the nuclear power plant (Calvert County) where he is seeing White Pelicans as well as Northern Gannets.  
He tells me Gannets know where the rockfish are, but this is the first time he has seen White Pelicans in Calvert waters.  (This is right across from Blackwater Refuge, of course, so not unexpected.)
