Re: White Pelicans in Calvert waters

Inspired by Sue's report of the American White Pelicans in the Bay, I
visited Thomas Point with two sleeping children.  I had FIVE pelicans
out in the bay, but all were the BROWN variety.  Even still, this is
*in my opinion* a super bird for Anne Arundel and my personal high
count.

One other interesting bird: a HY Royal Tern on the beach this AM at
Sandy Point SP. The entire time, this bird seemed to have it's eye on
Joe and Leslie, who were conducting a Snow Bunting search.  I'm not
sure how that turned out, but I suspect that the man with the enormous
loud kite scared the bird away yesterday afternoon.
