I stopped by Port Covington Shopping Center (Baltimore City) this morning
and had an officer from the Sercuritas agency tell me that I was trespassing
and had to leave. She said anyone found in the area [behind the vacant
depart store, formerly Samıs Club] would be locked up. I attempted to talk
with her; but she was not very interested in my interest.
Google Maps shows the area as Winans Cove and it is excellent for wintering
waterfowl and gulls. This is/was my sure-fire Northern Shoveler stop --
seventeen birds were there today.
