This may be a crazy post; but I just saw what appeared to be a Barnacle
Goose fly over my home in Randallstown with eight Canada Goose. It could
turn out to be a strange Canada; but this smaller goose had a dark head
(white white cheeks) and a dark neck that extended onto the breast. The
belly was bright ‹ much brighter than the Canadas. The wing linings were
light.

The small flock, flying from west to east, had a smaller bird that I hoped
would be a Cackling Goose. They turned north and passed over the house. They
were approximated two to three times higher than a tulip poplar.

I¹m going on a wild goose chase!
