Yesterday's rain seem to bring mostly black and white species to Oxbow Lake, including Horned Grebe, Bufflehead, Ring-necked Duck, and increased numbers of Hooded Mergansers.

FOS Horned Grebe, Bufflehead, Ring-necked Duck, and increased numbers of Hooded
Mergansers arrived after the big rains yesterday. The water level is up - thanks
to the rain - which means hopefully the beavers are making progress on
re-building the dam.
