It was an absolutely beautiful day on Assateague. Here are some of the
highlights:
Warbling Vireo - 1 - Bayside Campground - EXTREMELY late bird. One of
the latest reports in eBird for the eastern U.S.. Photo:

Mark Hoffman was able to relocate it later in the morning, as well as
Joe Hanfman, Peter Osenton, David Kidwell, and maybe others.
Prairie Warlber - 1 - Bayside Campground - late, but not unheard of in
Nov. Certainly much more common than Warbling Vireos! Photo:

Lark Sparrow - 1 - Assateague State Park - probably the same bird from
Thursday. Photo:

There are good amounts of Orange-crowned Warblers on the Island, as
well. Over the last few days, I've had the following sightings:
Thursday:
Bayside Point - 1
Assateague State Park--"No Man's Land" area - 1
Friday:
Oceanside Campground - 3
Saturday:
Bayside Point - 1
Here's a photo of one of 'em:
