Meadowside Nature Center

Birded the Meadowside Nature Center in Rockville including Lake Frank and
Lake Needwood this morning. Waterfowl on Lake Frank included HOODED
MERGANSERS (5) and GREEN-WINGED TEAL (3) and the usual mallards. Lake
Needwood held 80 RING-NECKED DUCKS and 3 PIED-BILLED GREBES. Interesting
were two late species along Big Piney trail: 1 GRAY CATBIRD that has been
hanging around for at least the past two weeks and one EASTERN PHOEBE. Full
ebird list below.
