The Black-headed Gull was again present at the parking lot of the Best Buy at Hunt Valley Mall. I was only there briefly, stopping by to see the bird en route to somewhere else. I pulled into the lot at around 2:15pm and quickly found the bird in a small flock of about 20 Ring-billed Gulls. It was perfectly tolerant of the cars, but after about 5 minutes a person walked through the flock and all of the gulls took flight. I thought that I had lost the bird at that point, but relocated it sitting on a lamp post. After about 5 more minutes (around 2:25), it flew again, and this time left the parking lot headed in the direction of Paper Mill Flats. I did not follow to see if that was where it ended up.
