Hey everyone-

I had the wonderfully cooperative BHGU at the Best Buy parking lot this morning between 930 and 1030.  In that time, the flock scattered one or two times, but always returned to the lot.  It was very entertaining watching how all the gulls would perk up when they heard the car window being lowered (as mentioned by previous observers).  It was not as entertaining to see the many cars purposely drive straight through the flock.  I left around 1030, when they had lifted for the second time. As I was leaving, someone stopped by and dropped off some goodies for the gulls, and they gradually were starting to return.

After leaving the shopping center, I drove some back roads in Baltimore County, with the highlight being a pair of striking Red-Shouldered Hawks on Mantua Mill Rd.

Good birding!
