After viewing the Black-headed Grosbeak this morning I headed to Wicomico
County. At the Salisbury Landfill, viewed from Naylor Mill Rd, I saw 1
Iceland Gull that most likely is the one Mikey found. There was also a very
white gull that could be a Nelson's Gull (Herring Gull x Glaucous Gull
hybrid).

A probable Nelson's Gull. A very white gull with wings, belly and back
marked with some light brown; pink bill with a dark tip; brown on end of
tail; a few primary feathers had a little brown on the ends. I did not get
a good feel for it's size because the flock kept getting flushed by a Bald
Eagle.
3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls

On my way home I went out to Taylor's Island and Hoopers Island looking for
Sanderlings and Purple Sandpipers. I didn't find either bird. There were 58
Brown Pelicans near the upper bridge at Hoopers Island.
