We also had good experiences with the neighbors on Saturday -- a bunch of people stopped during the two hours or so that I was there waiting for the bird (not idling or inconveniently parked). All of them were very nice and friendly, and luckily I had my iPhone with pictures, range maps, etc., so I could show them what we were looking for and how far from home it was.
