Hi Everyone,
I made a quick stop at Cabin Branch in Baltimore City (Pennington Ave Bridge) to check for waterfowl. There were very good numbers of Canvasback and Lesser Scaup. Also a few Greater Scaup, Bufflehead, Black Ducks and many Mallards of course. Among roughly 450 Canada Goose was an obvious Cackling Goose, along the North bank. The bird was distant but scoped well. Here is a documentation photo. I couldn't get a photo defining the bill (bird was distant) but at least the size difference was obvious from the surrounding Canada Geese in the photo.
