The only way to celebrate the New Year is to do something you love.  So I set out to find the Short eared Owls on Bull Frog Road; thanks to the good directions from previous posts, no problem finding the exact place, and within 15 minutes, the first one appeared! Just beautiful; the setting sun lighting up those long wings going back and forth over the field against the pink sky!  There were two vocalizing and being watched by a fox.  The best way to start the new year!!!
