For those who will try to find what seems now to be the single ROSS'S GOOSE at Kershner's pond, Frederick Co, MD this weekend and may not
take the time to read the OSPREY posting record of the past week, i wanted to emphasize again  that the lane leading to Kershner's pond is a PRIVATE
road.  To date the residents seem to have tolerated the traffic well and visitors have been obeying the "rules" to not stray onto the grassy areas off the narrow
road.  That said, i wanted to repeat that there is no right of public access to the private road leading to the pond from MD 17.  Viewing of the majority of
the pond is possible north of the pond at a wide shoulder area on 17 where traffic will not be impeded and no one should object to observers.  There are
four or more residences in this property and it will be very easy for one or more of them to take offense at even a sigle transgression and for us to find access
to this resource shut off.  Please be considerate.
