This is turning out to be the best winter for sparrows at the Conservancy
that I can recall. An amazing morning with wonderful numbers of birds.
At one point I had on the netting fence an American Tree, Swamp, Song,
Field, White-throat in view at one time though the bins! I was very excited
to find a LINCOLN'S Sparrow....extremely rare wintering sparrow for Howard.
I keep looking for the potential rarity to show up since the numbers of
birds are so high.
