follow-up to 'possible imm. goshawk in Kensington'

Although the Sibley guide illustrates the imm. goshawk with the large white blotches on the back that this bird had, Bent's Life Histories states that the imm. goshawk and imm. Cooper's hawk are indistinguishable.  So, given the rarity of the former and the relative more common occurrence of the latter, I will revise my observation as imm. Cooper's hawk in Kensington.  I identified the remains as a blue jay.  Still, not a bad sighting for a location near White Flint Mall and Rockville Pike.
