Hey everyone,

Yesterday while birding around Oxford at lunch I had 18 American Coot
in Cemetery Cove viewed from the Oxford Cemetery. This is by far the
largest concentration of coot I have had in the area. Also present
were a small flock of Canvasback and Lesser Scaup. The Canvasback and
scaup were the first sightings of the season for me in Talbot County.
The large goose flocks that normally winter in the fields along Oxford
Rd have finally arrived as well, much later than normal.

I have a new post on my blog about the Ghost Tiger Beetle. It can be
viewed at www.midatlanticnature.blogspot.com
