Hi All,
 
Yesterday I saw a chickadee at my house with a shaggy crest.  I have always thought chickadees had a smooth rounded head and that all the feathers were too short to appear crested even if the wind was blowing fiercely from the back.  There was no wind at the time of the sighting, so either I have always been wrong or this chickadee is very unusual!
