This morning, 4 Feb 2012, at the home site i was preparing to head to Jefferson (MD) for morning chores and purchases, but was delayed by what i first thought was a vocalizing Blue Jay.  This kept up for some minutes when i observed two raptors nearby.  Eventually, a third joined the other two.  Based on Bonnie's post i'm assuming, this was a pair being joined by a would be home wrecker.  They cavorted around for a while giving great views in flight when i finally left for town.

This afternoon not 10 miles away another RSH was perched along Ballenger Creek Pike just S of Tuscarora HS again giving great views of plumage.

Snow contiues here - hopes are it will be a surprise BLIZZARD.

Feeder birds incld'd rare (for me) multiple Juncos just before darkness fell.

PS I note that MANY people in posting replies are not taking the time to trim out what can become an extremely long trail of extraneous material.  There was discussion several years ago, that it was considered BEST PRACTICES on MDOsprey to trim this extra material before hitting the SEND button.  I think it saves Norm $$$ as well.  Something to consider...
