At the suggestion of another birder I ran back to PP to check on the Cackling Geese and see if I could get some photos. This was a good thing as I noticed two things I hadn't seen before. One was that the Geese were not really all that much darker than the Canadas. The thought that they were was probably a combination of rushed looks and less than perfect lighting. The other thing I noticed was that there was a Pied-billed Grebe also present.
