I hadn't seen the Green Heron since Monday so I figured it's gone. I was just past the construction site on the back road when my phone rang. It was a coworker. She was meeting someone for a walk and the Green Heron was perched on someone's car by Trailer 1. When the owner came out and got in, the heron flew up and landed on the roof of Trailer 1. By the time I got there, it was gone so I went back to the drainage pond just down from the entrance gate and there it was!

Also relocated an Eastern Phoebe that I found last week near the dorm. This time it was behind the dorm and I found it when it called a couple of times.

All in all, a MUCH nicer day than yesterday though a little bit breezy.
