I birded Centennial lake this morning and found my first RUBY-CROWNED
KINGLET of the year. It was with a Golden-crowned and a Winter Wren by the
wood duck pond.
FYI the park is undergoing maintenance and soon you will not be able to walk
entirely around the lake....you will have to turn back at an area where they
are doing work.
The waterfowl was fun to watch with their Valentine's intrigues
http://flic.kr/p/btzyDk The Ring-necks and Hoodies males were showing
their stuff.
