The Virginia Warbler first appeared during this period at the "usual" bramble area on the right side a little ways up the path from the parking lot. It stayed most of the time on the right side but covered an expansive circuit. It went all the way forward to where the trail turns right, then returned to the original spot, then flew back/away from us to along the field where a light green pine tree sits on the edge--basically circling that entire area all the way up to near the observation deck--but it eventually flew left across the path all the way to near the road...and disappeared, apparently taking a siesta or enjoying an afternoon soap opera or two.

About a dozen people got good to excellent looks from a fraction of a second to 5 seconds--very active bird. Near-constant chipping during the 30 minutes. Following it and listening--such an active bird--was a total blast.
