Hi everyone-

Today at about 1pm I observed a pink-footed goose near the intersection of
Jones Rd. and Hipsley Mill Rd. just north of the Patuxent River S.P. Here
are some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/53996513@N07/?saved=1

Here is a map of the location:
http://www.google.com/maps?q=jones+road+and+hipsley+mill+road,+maryland&hl=en&sll=39.281301,-77.097416&sspn=0.032687,0.067978&hnear=Hipsley+Mill+Rd+%26+Jones+Rd,+4,+Lisbon,+Howard,+Maryland+21797&t=m&z=16
The bird was at the edge of the pond just off Jones Rd., with about 115
Canada geese. I returned to the site at 4pm but did not relocate the bird,
though the flock was much more spread out then, onto a back field.

PLEASE NOTE access to the site appears difficult. I believe the pond and
land around it is private property, and I do not know about places to
park. The pond and fields are viewable from Hipsley Mill Rd. Please be
careful and courteous.

Thanks to Jim Brighton for his help.

Good birding!
