Peter,

I can't speak for the other Queen Anne's and Kent County birders, but besides the weekly river surveys that Maren and I do we have not tried for the Barnacle Goose in a while. During the surveys we do scan the cove that we originally found the bird in, but have not seen it there since the last eBird sightings. 

Tom Feild put in a valiant effort on two consecutive all day attempts (can't remember the specific weekend) about a month ago, I searched pretty hard for half of one of those days and it could not be found. That's the last time I have put in any serious effort in looking for it.
