Hi, all,

When I was driving home today I was driving toward a hawk that just looked like a redtail to me. I drove under it though and it was very dark and looked more like a young eagle. I pulled over to look and it still looked redtail to me, but very dark underneath. I got the impression of a reddish tail in life, but that can be tricky - I've seen osprey tails that looked red, too, until they changed position. I snapped some pictures and posted 4 to Flickr.
