Crane chasers,

The Sandhill Cranes have only been seen in the afternoon at the northeast
section on Gorman Rd & Murray Hill Rd, Laurel, MD. Limited parking is only
available about 100 yards west of Murray Hill Rd. There is quite a bit of
traffic on this road so be careful.
Below is a link with a picture of the cranes imbedded in the eBird
checklist plus a link to a map of the area.

It looks like an adult and a 1st winter juvenile.

There back!
3:34 p.m.
The two Sandhill Cranes were just reported back in the same field at the
northeast corner of Gorman Rd/Murray Hill Rd. This is a heavily
trafficed road so be very careful. Park west of Murray Hill near the
transmission line gate.
