Hey everyone,

I checked the Spring Rd impoundments near Oxford at lunch today.
Green-winged Teal and Mallards were the predominant waterfowl with two
pairs of Northern Shovelers also present. A Northern Harrier was also
hunting in the grasslands.
A Field Sparrow was singing. I've published a new blog post on Spring
in the Mid Atlantic Region with an announcement on an upcoming post on
Trillium identification. It can be viewed at
www.midatlanticnature.blogspot.com Thanks for taking a look,
