I'm reporting this for Dick Adams, Anne Arundel Bird Club member.  Today at Fort Smallwood Park he observed an Eastern Kingbird.  He was able to get very good looks at the bird (white tail tip and all) and carefully observed it, realizing that it was a very early arrival.  He is very confident of his ID.  For what its worth, I thought I heard one call yesterday at the Park, but dismissed it immediately.
