Is that lesser celandine which carpets much of Milford Mill (Villa Nova Park)? Whether or not it's native, it certainly is pretty.

Hoping to find a LouWat at Milford Mill this morning, I instead found a GNATCATCHER and lovely yellow PALM WARBLER which spent its time on or near the ground, at one time coming close to a Phoebe (allowing me to watch two tail waggers at the same time); it sang once.

The bridge, which had been damaged last fall from fallen trees, resulting in yellow warning tape blocking path entrances, is now very nicely fixed (you can still smell the new wood), so the park is once again an inviting place to go.

A brief stop at Soldier's Delight resulted in a couple of PINE warblers and a Brown Creeper.
