I agree, it's interesting to note changes in the dates of "first of 
year" or "first of season" sightings and discuss possible causes.

But what about "last of season" birds? Will our visiting juncos and 
White-throated Sparrows depart earlier than usual this year? Keep an eye 
out and share your observations.
