Generally when I think of a "juvenile" or otherwise "young" songbird I think of it that way until there is a new brood. So last years babies are still juveniles until this years young are fledged. Then, I generally would consider them adults, as it is around that one year mark their vocals, plumages and behaviors become adultlike.
