Hi Everyone,
As we all know, Red-tailed Hawks are extremely common in the DC metro region - especially in the Winter. Hardly a day goes by that you don't see one flying overhead or hunting squirrels in DC's parks.  What I'm not so sure about is records of nesting Red-tails in the City. Anyone know about this?  Are they nesting in Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Arlington to anyone's knowledge?

I ask because I found a pair on a nest in one of the City's Circle Fort Parks today, and suspected nesting in the same location last year.

Thanks!
