Weather:
Partly cloudy with more clouds at the end of the day; 56-67 degrees;
excellent visibility; winds strong and gusty, initially from the NNW,
becoming west  15-30 mph gusting to 39 mph

Raptor Observations: Count taken from a close-by spot due to Park closure.
A splendid day with Sharpies in view from start to finish, supplemented by
good numbers of Ospreys, Northern Harriers, Cooper's Hawks and American
Kestrels and a sprinkle of Broadwings.  

Non-raptor Observations:
Swallows, martins, and swifts also numerous.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
