Weather:
Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy; 49-66 degrees; excellent visibility;
winds starting out from the SW at 5 mph, turning westerly and finally from
the WNW, 7-18 mph, gusting to 24 mph.

Raptor Observations:
Good all around flight today; some small kettles of Broadwings; many birds
quite high; a Bald Eagle went after an Osprey with a large fish and the
Osprey blinked, i.e., the Osprey dropped its fish.  The eagle caught the
fish as it dropped and made off with it.

Non-raptor Observations:
Caspian Tern; Sora; 25 migrating Common Loons

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
