Jay Sheppard and I independently visited Oxbow Lake this morning to see if the 4 Sandhill Crane seen yesterday might have returned to spend the night - they did not. While we were there 2 American Wigeon flew in to join the Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Wood Duck, Mallard, and Pied-billed Grebe (2). Also saw 3 Red Fox (a pair was frolicking on the peninsula), 3 Bald Eagle (2 mature, 1 ~4 yr old), Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Wilson's Snipe, and Killdeer.
