This morning (4/11) at Rock Creek Park with Bill Butler and Sharon Forsyth…. In the past three weeks I birded at the park almost every morning and entered my findings in eBird. Aside from the occasional Palm Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush, Barred Owl, Phoebe, Fox Sparrow and Chipping Sparrow, there had been a certain sameness of sightings from day-to-day at Rock Creek so typical of late March and early April birding. It was always my intention to begin reporting to MDOsprey around April 15, but with Ellen Paul and Tim Boucher’s kind expression of interest in my reports, I will resume posting daily.
Best wishes to all for a wonderful Spring migration.
