After a very slow day on Wednesday (only 6 migrant raptors in 2 hours) Thursday produced a pretty good flight, most birds seen between 10:30 AM and noon. A few BWs flew by fairly low giving us good views, but most birds were quite high. The next couple of weeks should be the peak Spring hawk migration period, and we plan on manning the Cromwell site on most days then. To those of you who are familiar with our Autumn watch-site, please be informed that our Spring site is located on the Sherwood Farm side in the field near the paved mansion (park office) loop.
