Spent 3hr walking the grounds of the Arboretum this afternoon. Highlight
was undoubtedly the abundance of FOY Northern Parula. I counted at least 7
at various locations. All were heard singing and two were seen well. Great
to have them back! Also had FOY House Wren chattering behind the Arbor
House. A pair of E Bluebirds was seen on the woods edge at the intersection
of Valley Rd and Meadow Rd. Gnatcatchers ruled the day--I counted nearly 20
of them. Osprey, Bald Eagle, and Red-Shouldered Hawk seen on the river. A
spectacular day!
