  Hi all,

A nice morning to be out birding, but one had to be alert for the the many joggers, walkers, dogs and bikers on the shared path. Northern Parula Warblers are setting up shop, singing from many trees, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were "wheezing.'  Heard a first of season White-eyed Vireo. The Red-shouldered Hawk pair are doing well; one of them was sitting tight.  The mate flew around a few times calling before going off hunting.

 Also heard & seen:

Rufous -sided Towhees
American Goldfinches
White throated Sparrows (some in gorgeous breeding plumage)
Northern Flicker
Northern Cardinals
Brown Thrasher
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
White brstd nuthatch
Chipping Sparrow  2
Carolina Wren
Ruby crowned Kinglet  1
Wood duck  2
European Starling  2
Common Crow  American Robin
