Yesterday, I birded Point Lookout in the morning and a couple spots in
Charles County on my way back home. Northern Parulas and Ovenbirds have
clearly arrived in big numbers the last couple days, but the biggest
highlights were the nice collection of shorebirds:

Point Lookout:
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Greater Yellowlegs - 3
Eastern Willet - 2
Sanderling - 1
Dunlin - 3

Allens Fresh (Charles Co.) - Viewed from Budds Creek Rd
Killdeer - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Greater Yellowlegs - 8
Lesser Yellowlegs - 5
Least Sandpiper - 1
Dunlin - 9
Short-billed Dowitcher - 1

I and a few other birders collectively put in a lot of time at Port Tobacco
Marina, but despite the good numbers of terns and gulls, there was no sign
of the recently reported Little Gull.
