As I was dipping the Ruff at 7:00pm, I also saw a Tricolored Heron flying North from Jackson's Landing. Not too much of interest in the marsh, except one Pectoral Sandpiper with the yellowlegs.
Since a helpful staffer had given us permission to stay after closing, we started home at about 7:15. On the way out of the park we had three thrushes singing in the forest: robin, Hermit and Wood. Several Ovenbirds and one Louisana Waterthrush chimed in, and then a Kentucky Warbler started to sing is rich and steady song. The KEWA was on the left side of the road about 2/3rds of the way out, before the road drops down and crosses over a stream.
