Weather:
Partly cloudy becoming mostly sunny; 67-88 degrees; fair visibility with
haze; winds light most of the day with a southwesterly component.  By the
time the winds picked up, it was late afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
Another day of hard work locating migrants with observers stymied by haze,
light winds, warm temperatures lifting the birds high, and then cloudless
skies.

Non-raptor Observations:
478 migrant Blue Jays; new arrivals:  Spotted Sandpiper, White-eyed Vireo,
Great Crested Flycatcher, and a Prarie Warbler that Bill Hubick found after
the count was finished.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
