Variable cloudiness; 69-77 degrees; good visibility; winds northwesterly,
decreasing in velocity as the day went on, 5-14 mph

Raptor Observations:
Conditions seemed ideal for a large flight, but that didn't materialize. 
An Osprey taking black plastic pieces from the beach to use in
nest-building.

Non-raptor Observations:
889 Blue Jays; 2 Eastern Kingbirds; White-eyed Vireo; 3 Spotted Sandpipers;
2-3 Soras; House Wren; Cloudless Sulphur butterfly

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
