Hey everyone,

Jared Satchell and I made a quick drive up to Kent County yesterday
evening in search of the Glossy Ibis that Walter had reported. By the
time we got to the Flatland Rd pond around 6:15pm the ibis were gone.
We continued to Great Oak Pond where there were a pair of shovelers, a
Lesser Scaup, and a female Bufflehead. Chesapeake Farms held around
50 Gadwall, 70 shovelers, and 15 Green-winged Teal along with a small
shorebird flock that consisted of Greater Yellowlegs and a single
Dunlin. At the Chestertown WWTP there was a single Bonaparte's Gull.

My blog Mid Atlantic Nature hit a couple milestones on Monday, my
4000th hit and my 50th different country visitation. I've posted a
group of photos from said country on my blog. Go and look at the
photos and see if you can figure out the country. My blog can be
viewed at www.midatlanticnature.blogspot.com.
