Hello all.
An early Orchard Oriole added excitement to my walk at Swan Creek today.The bird was a male, singing repeatedly and was seen over a 5 minute period. This is an early date for this species. I also had FOY Black-throated Green Warbler, singing and seen along the trail to the wetlands.

Northern Shoveler: 5 north cell
Little Blue Heron: 3 old wetland
Snowy Egret: 1 mitigated wetland
Virginia Rail: 3 mitigated wetland
Pied-billed Grebe: 1 old wetland
Marsh Wren: 2 mitigated wetland
Whie-eyed Vireo: 1 woodland road
Black-throated Green Warbler: 1 trail side, FOY
Common Yellowthroad: 8+ seen/heard around both wetlands
Pine Warbler: 1 close to power lines
Myrtle Warbler: 1
Northern Parula: 1 alternate song, trail to wetlands
Black-and-white Warbler: 1 woodland road
Stoney Creek Park: ( A very good FIDS habitat, given the area it is in. E-mail me for more info if interested)
Pileated Woodpecker: 1 drumming on a poplar trunk
Ovenbird: 2 one singing on eaither side of the road.
Brandon Woods Fields:
Cattle Egret: 1 at least 1 (flyover)
Sharp-shinned Hawk: 1
