I was glad I had my feeder up in time; the female ruby-throated hummingbird
made good use of it.
I also saw a pileated woodpecker today, along with the barred owl, which I
hear almost every day, but don't see very often. The other woodpeckers,
Red-bellied, Hairy, and Downy all made their usual visits to my feeders.
