MD Osprey:

My issue of North American Birds (an ABA publication) just arrived. 
It features an detailed article by our own Gail Mackiernan and Barry 
Cooper, entitled "First record of Solander's Petrel for Alaska," 
replete with photos by Gail. If accepted, this record, from two hours 
east of the International Dateline in the Bering Sea, would 
constitute the first record of this species for North America. 
Congratulations, Gail and Barry!

Also, in this issue, Rob Ostrowski becomes a co-author of the Middle 
Atlantic regional report, along with Matt Hafner and Mark Adams. Thanks, Rob!
