It was a beautiful and birdy day at Hope House Farm in Talbot County today.
The list below, compliments of Paul Thut, reflects the eBird report for the
total time at Hope House Farm. Highlights of the day included
First-of-Season birds for many of the members, such as SPOTTED SANDPIPER,
LEAST TERN, RED-EYED VIREO, HOUSE WREN, OVENBIRD, WORM-EATING WARBLER,
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, SUMMER TANAGER, SCARLET TANAGER AND BLUE GROSBEAK.
In addition to the Hope House birds, several other species for the morning
were picked up by club members at the Acme Parking lot meeting place and
also along the road from Easton to Hope House. These species were:
Killdeer, Laughing Gull, Ring-billed Gull, Least Tern, Kingbird, Common
Grackle and House Sparrow.
