Hi all,

Wonder when spring will finally arrive -- another cool, overcast day with little evidence of migration. We did the Shorefield/Pine Lake area of WRP and some of Brookside Gardens but saw little evidence of active migration. Two SCARLET TANAGERS and a half-dozen BALTIMORE ORIOLES were FOS, otherwise mostly the expected species. A few shorebirds and a rather lost-looking Coot enlivened Pine Lake. Only three species of warbler, however. We met another birder who had seen several more warbler species (e.g. B&W, B-T Green) and a R-B Grosbeak but we dipped on these. No White-throats seen at the park but they are still at our house.

Better weather predicted late this week, so we can hope...
